Anti-dumping duties on electrical steel

EU impose anti-dumping duties on electrical steel.

The European Commission has set tariffs on imports of grain-oriented flat-rolled electrical steel (GOES) from China, Japan, Russia, South Korea and the United States to protect European steel producers.
GOES is a highly-specialised product used by power producers and distributors to produce transformer cores and is made by only 16 producers worldwide.

We expect a steel price increase and this will unfortunately have an impact on our transformer raw material prices.
