Transient suppression transformers Isolating transformers with built in electrostatic shielding witch traps, absorbs and discharge noise on distribution lines. Transient suppression transformers are particularly suitable for protecting computer equipment and sensitive electronics against transients, voltage spikes and earth faults, and they provide effective damping of interference from approx. 1 kHz to 1 MHz. Noratel offer standard 1-phase models up to 4,6 kVA with 120dB attenuation, and 3-phase models up to 100 kVA with 80dB attenuation.
